MEMBERSHIPS

Alison commenced her legal studies with the specific intention to become a family lawyer.  Throughout her Bachelor of Laws she took every opportunity to develop specific practice area knowledge of family law, and graduated with distinction. In the final year of her studies she worked as a paralegal at a community legal centre, primarily working on family law matters.

After being admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia, Alison took a role in a suburban law firm, where she practised predominantly in family law, but also assisted her clients with restraining order matters when these intersected with family law.  Alison then joined O’Sullivan Davies in December 2025 as an Associate.

Alison recognises the devastating impact that being involved in a family law dispute can have upon spouse parties and children. The work of a family lawyer often involves scrutinising the most personal details of family life, and Alison is dedicated to providing clients with empathetic and effective support throughout this process.  She provides compassionate and pragmatic guidance to clients as they navigate the complex and often distressing issues that arise from parenting and property disputes.
