OSD Presents…Handy Hints (25)

If you are on relatively “good” terms with your spouse, consider whether a parenting plan is the best way to codify any agreements about your children.

A parenting plan is a voluntary agreement made between parties regarding the day to day responsibilities of each parent, the practical considerations of a child’s daily life, as well as how the parents will agree and consult on important, long term issues such as education and the like.

Parenting plans can be changed to suit the developing needs of children and families without the need for court proceedings.

We can assist as to whether a parenting plan or court orders are appropriate for your family.
