Handy hints to protect your firm when working remotely (cont.)

+ Security Protection Make sure up to date security protection is installed on all devices that will be used when working remotely. Ensure anti-virus, firewalls and device encryption are in place.

+ Ensure colleagues use a secure Wi-Fi connection This is essential. It means only use Wi-Fi that requires a password to use.

Don’t make the mistake of logging in at an internet café or shared Wi-Fi. If your home Wi-Fi is down or you don’t have access to a secure connection then hot spot your laptop to your mobile phone.

Also make sure you reset your Wi-Fi router default password.
