Maram Adem

Maram completed her Bachelor of Laws at Murdoch University in 2021 and was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2023.

She began her legal career at the Australian Taxation Office, where she developed a strong foundation in tax law and gained valuable insight into complex financial matters. That experience has since become one of her key strengths in her work as a family lawyer.

Since moving into family law in 2024, Maram has worked on a broad range of matters, including those involving significant asset pools and intricate legal issues. She takes a calm, thoughtful approach and is committed to helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

Maram was drawn to family law because of its personal nature and the chance to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. She finds it rewarding to support clients during what can be an incredibly difficult time, and values the trust they place in her.

Maram has been an active member of the Society of African Australian Lawyers since 2022 and joined the Family Law Practitioners’ Association in 2024. She is passionate about ongoing professional development and contributing to a diverse and inclusive legal profession.
