Eliza Fitzgerald

After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame in 2016, Eliza worked as a Research Associate for a trial Magistrate at the Family Court of Western Australia. Whilst working at the Court, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law, was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and commenced a Masters of Law (Family Law).
Eliza joined O’Sullivan Davies in 2019 and practices in all areas of family law, having particular interest in third party financial matters, child-related proceedings involving interstate and international relocation and Financial Agreements. Shortly after joining O’Sullivan Davies, Eliza graduated with a Masters of Law (Family Law).
Eliza goes above and beyond to ensure clients feel supported and well-informed whilst they are making some of the most important decisions of their lives. She prides herself on her attention to detail, and her ability to find creative solutions to complex challenges faced by her clients. Eliza believes each client is unique and therefore never takes a “one size fits all” approach to their case.
Eliza has been recognised for her contribution to pro-bono matters, receiving a Pro Bono Hero award from Law Access in 2020 and Certificate of Appreciation from Law Access in 2021.
Eliza is a member of the Family Law Practitioner Association (WA) publications subcommittee and periodically volunteers at the Women’s Legal Service Clinic.
Outside of the workplace, Eliza likes to travel to learn about new places, and has her sights set on Central and South America. She also enjoys cooking for friends and family, running and gardening.
