Amelia Channer-Holmes

Amelia graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Australia in 2024. Before this, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and History. She is currently undertaking her Practical Legal Training. Amelia is drawn to family law because of its deeply personal and human focus. She values the opportunity to support people from all walks of life as they navigate complex and often emotional situations. Her volunteer work with organisations such as Teach Learn Grow and Ignite Mentoring and her tutoring role at ACES Inc., where she supported students with complex learning needs, has strengthened her ability to connect meaningfully with people from diverse backgrounds.

Amelia also developed a keen interest in oral advocacy during her time as a Court Officer at the Federal Court.

Outside of work, Amelia is an avid reader and traveller who loves exploring new cultures and perspectives.
