Victor graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts in 2015. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2016, practicing in all aspects of family law, as well as Care and Protection matters in the Children’s Court. Prior to joining O’Sullivan Davies, Victor also acted for clients in relation to Criminal Law proceedings and Violence Restraining Orders.
To Victor, family law is about helping parents and former partners achieving a new normal, not just for them but for their families. He enjoys that his work is about helping clients who are focused on being the best parents they can be during an otherwise difficult time
He recognises that all families are unique and sees his role as advocating for the recognition of particular skills and qualities each person brings to a relationship. To that end, Victor feels privileged to learn something new from each client as he works with them to formulate a secure financial foundation stepping into the next chapter of their life. Victor says he is grateful to be a small part of his clients’ journeys.
Communication is one of Victor’s strengths which he believes is the key to navigating the disputes in a client focused manner.
Passion and self-improvement are common themes in Victor’s life both in and out of the office. He enjoys learning new skills that are based on discipline and focus, in particular figure skating which he started at the same time he joined O’Sullivan Davies. When not in the office or on the ice, he is likely to have his head buried in a book and a cat on his lap.
Victor is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Western Australia, Law Society of Western Australia, and Asian Australian Lawyers Association.
