Sherlene graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) (majoring in Financial Accounting and Corporate Finance). She has been practising solely in the area of family law since that time and has since obtained a Master of Laws (Family Law) (LLM).
Sherlene commenced practice in WA and has also spent a number of years practising in Sydney, before returning to WA to resume her practice in 2018.
Sherlene has experience dealing with complex financial matters, including where there are multiple trust and corporate structures, as well as complex parenting issues where there are allegations of family violence or abuse, or drug and alcohol use. She is focused on resolving matters for clients as amicably as the circumstances permit and is also an assertive litigator where otherwise required.
Sherlene is a committee member of the WA Singapore Business Connect, a member of Rotary, and is presently looking for opportunities in WA to volunteer at family law legal advice sessions, which she did for the past 3 years in NSW.
