Nicola Jansen graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce in early 2010. She was admitted as a lawyer in 2011 and has practised exclusively in Family Law ever since. In 2017, Nicola completed family law accreditation exams making her one of only 47 practitioners in Western Australia recognised by the Law Societies of all States as having specialist knowledge in family law.
Nicola regularly appears in the Family Court and has experience in all aspects of family law including divorce, simple and complex property settlements, child support and parenting disputes.
Nicola is the current Treasurer of the Family Law Practitioners Association, a member of the Law Society’s ethics committee and was recognised as a Rising Star in the 2018 Doyle’s Guide rankings.
Nicola finds job satisfaction as a family lawyer because it impacts on the most important part of most people’s lives. She is motivated to grow as a lawyer, keep her knowledge up to date and provide impeccable service to her clients.
In her spare time, Nicola enjoys travelling to new places and spending time with her pet chickens, Petunia and Clarabelle.
