Gemma graduated the University of Notre Dame in 2016 with a Bachelor of Laws. While studying, Gemma worked in the not-for-profit health sector and completed clerkships at family law firms. After her graduation, Gemma worked as a senior law clerk in a specialist family law firm in the western suburbs, where she was then employed as a solicitor from the time of her admission as a lawyer in 2017 until January 2021, when she joined O’Sullivan Davies.
In 2020, Gemma served as a Junior Member of the Law Society of Western Australia Council. She was also an ex-officio member of the Young Lawyers Committee.
Gemma practices in all areas of family law, including both simple and complex property matters, parenting matters, divorce, maintenance issues and variations to prior agreement or orders. She also has experience in Appeals from Family Court orders and is comfortable assisting clients with Family Violence Restraining Order matters.
Being particularly interested in investigatory tasks, Gemma enjoys being involved in more complex financial matters. However, Gemma is passionate about assisting her clients in whatever way is necessary to assist them in navigating one of the most difficult times in their lives.
Gemma has a keen interest in real estate and property, which she finds translates well when dealing with financial and property matters at work. Outside of work, Gemma enjoys renovating and working on her home.
